Bio:

Unlike their more vicious minded cousins the The Oussrae and The Oussrae-Thex, Progeny Packmistresses prefer to avoid engaging in direct hand to hand, and concentrate more on evading hand to hand combat and letting their hounds do the work. Considering The Desolate, have a backdoor into their heads, it makes good tactical sense to let the hounds, who are not so encumbered, lead the attack and to just provide backup when needed.

Only P2 Progeny, that is second generation Progeny with the merged physiology, can become a Packmistresses, and with the added liability of The Desolate’s mental backdoor few actually do. If a P1 Progeny with a Colony Symbiont in control tried to undergo the linking procedure, the Thex Hound would reject the connection with the symbiont and attack. (The same would happen if a foolish Desolate were to somehow discover the secret of the ritual, acquire a hound, and attempt the procedure.)

These Stats Are based on the average P2 Progeny Packmistresses. More experinced Packmmistresses may very well have additional powers and abilities. (Note: The DEX, INT, and SPD scores for the Average Packmmistress are also minimum values requred to be alowed to become a Packmistress, representing the fact that this is an elite squad of troops.) More experienced Packmmistresses will also have more hounds, while a novice has only a single animal. The addition (or removal) of hounds to the Packmmistress alters some of its ability costs:

1 The reduction in hounds actualy makes this power more efficient, reducing its Limited Power disad to a -1 instead of a -1 1/2.

3 This is murderously inefficient, as the limited group of creatures able to be affected is almost half of what the power is capable of doing, increasing the Limited Power Disad to -1 3/4
